There’s no Courtney Love character in “Last Days,” the new Gus Van Sant movie about the suicide of a Kurt Cobain-esque rock star, but that doesn’t mean Ms. Love is going to let her role in the drama be forgotten. In this month’s issue of Spin, she accuses former Nirvana drummer Dave Grohl of “taking money from [my] child for years,” alluding to a long-running royalties battle with Cobain’s surviving bandmates. E! Online points out that Love is $4 million in debt due to legal bills alone—making it a little hard to have much sympathy when she accuses Dave Grohl of stealing her daughter’s piggybank money.
