Rush and Molloy of the New York Daily News report not one but two exposes of kabbalah: "20/20" is airing a piece tomorrow, and Radar Magazine has the first in a four-part series up now. The not-wildly-surprising news? Apparently the Berg family, founders of the Kabbalah Centre, are one corrupt pair. R&M do our religion a favor by describing Karen and Philip Berg as people "who have tried to tear Kabbalah away from its Jewish roots," but it's still pretty embarrassing to see any version of Judaism discredited all over the media, especially since the Bergs' primary sin seems to be, well, greed. Couldn't Madonna have just become Reform?
