[Pitchfork](http://www.pitchforkmedia.com/news/05-06/20.shtml?ref=jewsrock.org) reports that the new Strokes album will feature Nick Valensi on Mellotron, speculating that Valensi is trying to be the band’s Jonny Greenwood (Radiohead’s Mellotron-happy guitarist). This in turn leads us to wonder: Is Greenwood an MOT? Consider the facts: He spells his name with no “h,” Jewish-style, because he’s a Jonathan and not a John. One of the [songs](http://josephtate.com/radiohead/archives/000393.html?ref=jewsrock.org) he wrote for the film [Bodysong](http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0349154/?fr=c2l0ZT1kZnxteD0yMHxsbT01MDB8dHQ9MXxmYj11fHBuPTB8cT1Cb2R5c29uZ3xodG1sPTF8bm09MQ%5F%5F;fc=1;ft=20&ref=jewsrock.org) is called “Nudnik Headache,” and another is “Tehelle,” Hebrew for pale blue. And according to [Justradiohead.com](http://www.justradiohead.com/profile.html?ref=jewsrock.org), Greenwood ‘s wife is Israeli. A quick search revealed nothing conclusive about Jonny (or his brother Colin), but the Yiddish Invasion will continue to investigate this compelling mystery.
