The best part about American Idol’s audition episodes—aside, of course, from Ryan Seacrest’s witty banter—is the dancing. People who can’t sing make us a little sad; people who can’t dance, on the other hand, are hilarious. Fox has taken this principle and run with it, giving us [So You Think You Can Dance](http://www.fox.com/dance/?ref=jewsrock.org)(which debuts tonight). Apparently, borrowing the auditions-to-performance winnowing structure from their old show wasn’t enough for the Idol producers, who are rumored to have conscripted one of the judges as well. And while the Yiddish Invasion would blog about Simon if we could, we all know exactly which former choreographer will be featured on the show: Sephardic sweetheart Paula Abdul. [E! Online](http://entertainment.tv.yahoo.com/entnews/eo/20050720/112188564000.html?ref=jewsrock.org) reports whispers that Paula’s summer gig is meant to act as a gentle transition off of American Idol, but we doubt it—between the People Magazine cover, the Saturday Night Live walk-on, and the twin sex/drugs scandals, she’s a publicist’s dream.
