According the official website, [Live8live.com](http://www.live8live.com/?ref=jewsrock.org), Live 8 was the day that rocked the world. Taking place this Saturday last, the concert to end world poverty attracted 3 billion viewers, all who disappointed their respective fathers when they did not show up to shul that morning. Bob Geldof, who is rumored to be Jewish, organized the event with the help of Bono, lead singer of U2, and some unassuming corporate sponsors. The concerts, held in major cities like London, Paris, Berlin and, uh, Philadelphia, featured sets by U2, Coldplay, a reunited Pink Floyd, Madonna, Paul McCartney, Snoop Dogg, Brian Wilson, Jay-Z, and Roxy Music. It appears that Canada was the only seriously shafted location with performances from Motley Crue, Bryan Adams, and the Barenaked Ladies. Although, they should be thankful that they didn't get Good Charlotte on top of that (sorry, Tokyo). London's [Evening Standard](http://http//www.thisislondon.com/showbiz/articles/19692803?ref=jewsrock.org) reports some juicy backstage gossip at the London show. It turns out that Geldof named his three daughter Fifi, Peaches, and Pixie: a perfect example why parents should not take drugs whilst naming their children.
